I am very young and my hair is very thin anyone know if there are some vitamins i can take or any type of medicine or something? please help me.

first you need to figure out why your hair is thinning out in the first place.

here are the most common reasons:

diet change
stress
medication

If you changed your diet in any way, you are likely missing out on some sort of vitamin. Figure out what you changed…and what you are most likely missing. For most women, it is protein.

If you are stressed, your hair will naturally follow suit. You need to get out of the stressful environment, or find a way to relax yourself. Don’t worry…when the stressful situation is over, your hair should come back full swing with the rest of you.

Medication (even something like asprin) will cause your hair to thin out. There is not much you can do about it. You can try talking to your doctor about switching your medication.

A more uncommon cause of hair thinning is genes. For some women (very few) hair loss is hereditary! It is a sad thing, and nothing can be done about it.

There are products like Roggaine and Nioxin that help to preserve the hair that you do have. It will not make your hair grow back, but it will strengthen the hair that you do have. The problem with these products is that they only work when you use them, and they are expensive.

Try eating more avacado. They are fantastic for your hairs health and shine!

Ps. if the thinning problem is actually just a ‘my hair has always been thin’ problem…there is not too much you can do about that either…there are some fantastic products out there designed to give your hair some body. talk to your hair stylist about some products that would help your hair type look the most full and most natural.

i like paul mitchells extra body line.

ive seen women in their 30s and their hair is so thin in the front u can see the scalp,,, what causes this and can u prevent it?

Stress can induce Alpoecia (hair loss to the point of being bald), the only cure is to get less stressed. Sometimes the hair grows back, other times it doesn’t. You can also have the equivalent of male pattern baldness in women too, it is rare, but does happen, there is nothing to prevent this. Over styling, colouring and perming can also cause baldness in women, to prevent this, listen to your hair dresser and give your hair a rest at least twice a year from treatments.

Hope that answers your question.

One thing I’ve heard is that washing your hair in the shower is bad because the water pounds on your head.

i guess they meant the excessive washing

My hair used to be super-thick, and in the last five years it has thinned out so badly it has me depressed! I am 46 years old, btw.

Hello
Have you watched your diet? Is your diet iron rich? Does it have good vitamins? If not then see to it that you eat fresh cooked food everyday. Less greasy, more healthy. Have lots of iron rich food and fruits.
Apply Dabur Vatika oil or Amla oil, which you will get in some Indian store easily. If you don’t get it use Almond oil or coconut oil.
After applying oil, give steam to your hair by wrapping hot towel on your head.
Wash your hair with some natural cleansing agents or herbal shampoo.
You may also apply eggs once in a week. Condition your hair with herbal conditioner like juice of half lime in lukewarm water.
Meditate everyday and calm your mind.
Exercise too.

From what i read online thinning hair women is associated with hormonal changes.Is that true…? or is there more to it?Thanks

Hey Helen ! Most women will start to have thinning of the hair as they age, but there are certain causes of thinning hair that will dramatically speed up this process. When most women hit menopause their hormones get thrown out balance, which can affect the way their whole body functions and reacts to things. Most women who go through menopause find that their hair has become thinner, but there are some women who are far from the age of menopause that also suffer from thinning hair.

The causes of hair loss in women are many

Extreme physical and emotional stress can cause thinning of the hair in women. If a woman is going through a very stressful time in her life, she may find that her hair starts to fall out more rapidly. This also goes for physical stress, such as extreme diets or exercise programs that push her body to it’s physical limits.

Hormonal imbalances can also cause thinning of the hair. When a woman’s hormones are thrown out of the proper balance, it can knock the entire body out of sync, which can lead to extreme hair loss.

Genetics also plays a part in thinning of the hair. Some women are just genetically prone to thinner hair as they get older.

Some other common causes of thinning hair in women are:

* disease
* surgery
* nutritional deficiencies
* immune system problems
* thyroid disease
* radiation/chemotherapy treatment
* drugs
* allergies

Any one of these causes can make a woman suffer from thinning of the hair hair that may lead to bald spots or even complete baldness. With many of these causes such as surgery, hormonal imbalances, and allergies, once the stress or cause is gone from the woman’s life, hair will start to re-grow at a normal rate.

If you are a woman looking for a cure for your hair loss, I highly recommend you try out provillus for women. provillus is the only topical and dietary supplement approved by the FDA to regrow hair for women.

You can order a free trial of Provillus from the source link below. So far all I’ve heard is that Provillus helps people to re-grow their hair.Since men and women have different needs, they’ve created a special formula for men, and a uniquely different formula for women.

I’m in my late 40s and noticed the hair on my upper scalp is beginning to thin. Are there any scientifically proven methods to increase hair growth on my scalp and/or to thicken my hair?
Thanks

Well I’m not sure this is the answer your looking for…but I recommend the guy holds your face gently while he’s kissing you…then he wont be able to see any thinning at all.
